Pak Telecom Mobile Limited (PTML) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) that started its operations in January 2001 under the brand name 'Ufone'. About Upaisa UPaisa is a Mobile Financial Services platform, launched by Ufone, during October 2013, in collaboration with U Microfinance Bank Ltd. Supplemented by one of the largest agent networks in the country, UPaisa aims  to provide financial freedom to every citizen across Pakistan. It will empower it’s users with a variety of  services that will make it easier and simpler for them to take care of their financial transactions. UPaisa can be accessed via a Mobile Account or through the nearest UPaisa Shop to perform the following services: Utility Bill payment Sending or receiving money Opening a mobile account (currently available at Ufone Franchises & Service Centers) Mobile bill payment Donation Whether you want to pay bills or send money to your loved ones, UPaisa will ensure that your money is securely  transferred when you want and to whom you want, wherever the person is located in Pakistan. About UbankU Microfinance Bank Limited (Formerly known as Rozgar Microfinance bank Ltd.) was incorporated as public ltd.CompanyOn 29th of October 2003 under Company Ordinance 1984. It was the 4th microfinance  bank, licensed by State Bank of Pakistan under Microfinance Institutions Ordinance 2001. Initially, Rozgar, MicrofinanceBank Limited was a district wide microfinance Bank (MFB) operating in Karachi district. In August, 2012, Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) has acquired 100% shareholding of Rozga r Microfinance Bank Limited, after fulfilling required regulatory requirements and change in name from Rozgar  Microfinance bank Ltd. Money Transfer Now you have an easy, safe, secure and convenient way to send your money across the country to any person  with a valid CNIC. Any person can use this service and you do not need a Ufone number to send or receive money . All that is required is your original CNIC and the CNIC number of the recipient. You may transfer directly from  CNIC to CNIC or CNIC to UPaisa Mobile Account. How to transfer money from CNIC to CNIC? Visit any UPaisa Shop, UfoneSales and Service Centers, Ufone Franchise or UBank branch. To send money: In order to send money, the sender needs to bring and submit the following documents to the  Ufone franchise, customer care center or UPaisa retailer. Their valid and original Nadra CNIC along with one copy of the CNIC The valid CNIC number of the person who has to receive money Their mobile phone number and the mobile phone number of the receiver Before the money transfer, the sender will be asked to enter a 5 digit confidential pass code on the UPaisaagent's  mobile handset. The sender should not disclose this confidential pass code to the UPaisa agent and should  only communicate the pass code to the receiver. As soon as the transaction is completed, a confirmation SMS will be sent to both the sender and receiver. To receive money: In order to receive money, the receiver needs to bring and submit the following documents to the Ufone franchise, customer care center or UPaisa retailer. Their valid and original Nadra CNIC along with one copy of the CNIC They must know the 5 digit pass code communicated to them by the sender, as well as the trace number of  transactions. How to transfer money from CNIC to Mobile Account? Through this service any person with a valid CNIC can send money to a UPaisa Account holder. The sender will  need to go to the agent location for this service and provide the UPaisa account number that is the receiver's mobile number. The sender needs to bring the following to send money to a UPaisa account at the agent location: Their original and valid CNIC along with 1 Photocopy of the CNIC Receiving person's Mobile Number Their own mobile phone number Both the Sender and Receiver will receive confirmation SMS messages containing the transaction information.
